Triggered maintenance work occurs as a result of routine maintenance identifying an issue that, when resolved, will reduce the risk of network problems.
The service may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Resolve any server errors in the event log
- If network performance is below optimal, investigate cause and raise a project if necessary.
- Update software and hardware as a result of emerging security threats
- Resolve any issues raised by network monitoring
Service Delivery
Maintenance services are delivered by a team of skilled Engineers with good site knowledge in accordance with maintenance schedules.
Unplanned or "triggered" events are either resolved during the maintenance visit, or scheduled for a subsequent visit pending research into the issue.
If a maintenance issue exceeds the scope of the maintenance agreement, the work is raised as a project with the necessary approval cycle.
Many maintenance tasks can be performed remotely from Atlantech. Remote monitoring and systems "health" checks are preformed regularly.
Maintenance schedules are carefully managed by the Atlantech to ensure a high level of service.
When engineers perform maintenance tasks on site, they communicate with management and staff about the general state of the IT systems or about specific issues. Being at your office on a regular basis and keeping in touch with your staff at all levels are two of the factors that have made the delivery of IT services so successful.
This results in a well-managed network infrastructure that operates in its optimal state with a minimised risk of disruption.
