The Lead Developer - New Media Graphics is responsible for the development of client-oriented design solutions for digital media. This role requires strong flexible skills in visual & interactive design, and an awareness of client-side technologies. Understanding of UI issues & information architecture is also important, as is the ability to take art direction and constructive criticism.
Duties include participation in project idea development, graphics development, managing & estimating personal time outlays for each project, working with producers & technologists to implement designs into technology frameworks. Designers will work with the creative lead to integrate technology & clients' business requirements into design strategies, balancing UI, marketing and aesthetic interests.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional design/digital media
- A related tertiary qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flair for animation/motion-based design
Further advantages:
- excellent knowledge of web scripting languages, including HTML, DHTML and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of server-side ASP, ASP.Net
